Vice President Zhang Meifeng of Zhejiang University's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute visited the microbial protein production workshop of Fushine Bio, a subsidiary of Fushine Pharmaceuticals, focusing on understanding Fushine Bio's production process, technological innovation, and industrialization. Vice Chairman Li Huiyue explained that Fushine Bio uses a new strain of Fusarium, which has unparalleled advantages in microbial protein fermentation: fast growth, high nutritional value, 18 essential amino acids for the human body, and prominent ESG properties. Compared to traditional protein production, microbial fermentation can effectively reduce carbon emissions and significantly reduce the use of water and land resources! As of now, Fushine Bio has an annual production capacity of 1,200 tons, and a workshop with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons is under construction. In the future, it is planned to expand to a 200,000-ton workshop. Fushine Bio's microbial protein production capacity will set a new record for similar domestic factories!
