This roundtable meeting is one of the parallel sessions of the World Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Conference, focusing on the many challenges faced by the new protein industry in terms of technology, market and policy, such as how to break through production bottlenecks, improve production efficiency, reduce costs and optimize product quality on the technical level.

Vice Chairman Li Huiyue emphasized at the roundtable meeting that "Fushine Biotechnology, a subsidiary of Fushine Pharmaceuticals, specializes in the industrialization of microbial proteins and is the first company in China to achieve ton-scale industrialization of filamentous fungal proteins. The company's microbial protein production process is highly efficient, sustainable, and antibiotic-free. It boasts high protein, high dietary fiber, low sugar, low fat, and zero cholesterol."
When talking about how to reduce production costs, Vice Chairman Li Huiyue replied: "First, the Fusarium brevicaulis used by Fushine is a screened and strengthened strain, which can improve the fermentation unit level and substrate conversion efficiency; second, increasing the production scale can further dilute fixed costs. Fushine is building a project with an annual output of 20,000 tons of microbial protein and 50,000 tons of amino acid water-soluble fertilizer." In the future, Fushine Bio will continue to work hard to further reduce the cost of microbial protein!

In the process of producing microbial protein, Fushine Bio uses natural carbon and nitrogen sources, such as glucose, as raw materials to amplify the company's patented strain, Fusarium brevis. After a period of growth, the strain is separated into solid and liquid to obtain a microbial protein product. The waste mother liquor after fermentation is rich in nutrients such as free amino acids and salts. The company uses patented technology with independent intellectual property rights to carefully extract the nutrients in the waste mother liquor and successfully convert it into a water-soluble fertilizer rich in amino acids. It can be used for agricultural product cultivation, which has a good promoting effect on improving soil structure and fertility, and increasing crop yield and quality, realizing a gorgeous transformation from "emission burden" to "resource treasure".
